Pretty impressively accurate on clear photos - and every field stays editable, so you always have the last word. When the AI is unsure, it tells you instead of guessing.
›Are the valuations real appraisals?
They’re estimates based on comparable listings, for informational purposes only. For insurance or big sale decisions, talk to a professional appraiser.
›What happens to my photos?
They’re stored in your account and only sent for AI analysis after you give consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time in Settings.
›What does the free plan include?
Plenty: monthly AI scans, cataloged items, collection rooms, Look up mode for valuing something before you buy it, the review queue, cloud sync, locations, notes, and tags. Pro and Ultra raise the limits and add selling, family sharing, export, and collectible detail fields.
›Can I sell from my collection?
Yes, on Pro and Ultra. Publish to Discogs, Tradera, or eBay in a few guided steps - the AI even drafts the listing text for you. Listings are tracked and end automatically when the item leaves your collection.
›Can I share a collection with my family?
Yes. Pro includes two family members, Ultra up to six. Invite them with a code and everyone works in the same collection from the same scan pool.
›Can I show an item to someone without the app?
Yes. Share it from the item page and it gets a public web page on samla.ai - anyone with the link can see it in the browser, no account needed. It works on every plan, and you can stop sharing at any time.
