Three steps to cataloged. A fourth when you sell.

Cataloging usually means typing. samla.ai swaps the typing for a photo - and shows its work, so you can correct anything it got wrong.

  1. 1

    Snap

One photo from your camera or library, straight from the shelf. No light box, no barcode, no dusting required.

Photos are stored in your account and only sent for AI analysis after you give consent - and you can withdraw that anytime in Settings.

  2. 2

    AI does its thing

Two-stage analysis figures out what you’re holding, picks one of 31 categories, and fills in the details that matter for that category.

The first stage recognises what the object is; the second reads the category-specific details - pressing, edition, grade, vintage - that decide what it’s worth. Every field stays editable.

  3. 3

    Boom: valued & filed

You get a market estimate with comparable listings, and the item lands exactly where it lives: building, room, shelf.

Collections crown three honours per category in that hobby’s own language, so your shelf reads the way collectors talk about it.

  4. 4

    Sold, when you decide

Publish an item to Discogs, Tradera, or eBay without retyping a single thing you’ve already cataloged.

The listing is drafted from the record the analysis built - photos, condition, the details that set the price - and you set the price before it goes live. Listings are tracked and end automatically when the item leaves your collection. Selling is a Pro and Ultra feature, and the marketplaces you see depend on your country.

When the AI is unsure, it says so

Clear photos give the best results, and every field stays editable - you always have the last word. Rather than guessing at a detail it can’t see, the app leaves it open for you.

Estimates, not appraisals

Values are estimates based on comparable listings, for informational purposes only. For insurance or a big sale, talk to a professional appraiser.
